- The 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' application program requires the follow
- system environment in order to operate.

- MS-DOS 2.0 (or greater)
- 512k free memory
- Printer
- Floppy or hard disk

- The diskette that your copy of 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' was
- distributed to you on should not be used for calculating your
- loan amortization schedules. First make a backup copy of this
- distribution disk and then install 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' on either
- your hard disk, or floppy disk, system. If you are using a hard
- disk system it is suggested that you create a sub-directory that
- will contain the 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' program 'AMORT.EXE'.

- INSTALLING 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' ON SYSTEMS WITH A HARD DISK DRIVE:
- --------------------------------------------------------
- The following DOS command will create a sub-directory called
- 'AMORT':

- C>MKDIR AMORT
-
- Once you have created the sub-directory, select the new sub-
- directory by entering:
-
- C>CHDIR AMORT
-
- Insert the 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' distribution disk in drive 'A'.
-
- Copy the content of the distribution disk into this new sub-
- directory by entering:
-
- COPY A:*.* <return>
-

- INSTALLING 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' ON A FLOPPY DISK
- ---------------------------------
- In order to run 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' on a floppy disk system
- you you need two disk drives. Drive 'A' to contain the
- distributed copy of your 'AMORT' program, and drive 'B' to hold
- your working copy of your 'AMORT' program.

- Format the disk to contain your working copy by using the
- following DOS format command:

- FORMAT B:/S
-
- Insert the 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' distribution disk in drive 'A'.

- Copy the contents from your distribution to the new disk in drive
- 'B' by entering the following command:

- COPY A:*.* B: <return>
-
- You now have a working copy of 'AMORT'.

- Printing your documentation file:

- 1. Turn on your printer.
- 2. Enter the following command:

- COPY AMORT.DOC PRN <return>

- State of Texas and shall inure to the benefit of MICRO
- DATA ASSIST and any successors, administrators, heirs
- and assigns. Any action or proceeding brought by either
- party against the other arising out of or related to
- this agreement shall be brought only in a STATE or
- FEDERAL COURT of competent jurisdiction located in
- Collin County, Texas. The parties hereby consent to in
- personam jurisdiction of said courts.

- This is copyrighted software. You are not obtaining
- title to the software or any copyright rights. You may
- not sub-license, rent, lease, convey, modify,
- translate, convert to another programming language,
- decompile, or dissemble the software for any purpose.
- You may make as many copies of this software as you
- need for back up purposes. You may use this software on
- more than one computer, provided there is no chance it
- will be used simultaneously on more than one computer.
