  16. The  'LOAN AMORTIZATION' application program requires the  follow
  17. system environment in order to operate.
  18.  
  19.                  MS-DOS 2.0 (or greater)
  20.                  512k free memory
  21.                  Printer
  22.                  Floppy or hard disk
  23.  
  24. The   diskette  that  your  copy  of  'LOAN  AMORTIZATION'    was
  25. distributed  to  you on should not be used for  calculating  your
  26. loan  amortization schedules.  First make a backup copy  of  this
  27. distribution disk and then install 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' on  either
  28. your hard disk, or floppy disk, system.  If you are using a  hard
  29. disk system it is suggested that you create a sub-directory  that
  30. will contain the 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' program 'AMORT.EXE'.

  35. INSTALLING 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' ON SYSTEMS WITH A HARD DISK DRIVE:

  37. The  following  DOS command will create  a  sub-directory  called
  38. 'AMORT':
  39.  
  40.        C>MKDIR AMORT
  41.  
  42. Once  you  have created the sub-directory, select  the  new  sub-
  43. directory by entering:
  44.  
  45.                  C>CHDIR AMORT
  46.  
  47. Insert the  'LOAN AMORTIZATION'  distribution disk in drive  'A'.
  48.  
  49. Copy  the  content of the distribution disk into  this  new  sub-
  50. directory by entering:
  51.  
  52.                  COPY A:*.* <return>
  53.

  55. INSTALLING 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' ON A FLOPPY DISK
  56. ---------------------------------
  57. In  order to run  'LOAN AMORTIZATION'  on  a  floppy disk  system
  58. you  you  need  two  disk  drives.  Drive  'A'  to  contain   the
  59. distributed  copy of your 'AMORT' program, and drive 'B' to  hold
  60. your working copy of your 'AMORT' program.
  61.  
  62. Format  the  disk  to  contain your working  copy  by  using  the
  63. following DOS format command:
  64.  
  65.                     FORMAT B:/S
  66.  
  67. Insert the 'LOAN AMORTIZATION' distribution disk in drive  'A'.
  68.  
  69. Copy the contents from your distribution to the new disk in drive
  70. 'B' by entering the following command:
  71.  
  72.                     COPY A:*.* B: <return>
  73.  
  74. You now have a working copy of 'AMORT'.

  112. DATA  ASSIST and any successors, administrators,  heirs
  113. and assigns. Any action or proceeding brought by either
  114. party  against the other arising out of or  related  to
  115. this  agreement  shall be brought only in  a  STATE  or
  116. FEDERAL  COURT  of competent  jurisdiction  located  in
  117. Collin County, Texas. The parties hereby consent to  in
  118. personam jurisdiction of said courts.

  121. title to the software or any copyright rights. You  may
  122. not   sub-license,   rent,   lease,   convey,   modify,
  123. translate,  convert  to another  programming  language,
  124. decompile,  or dissemble the software for any  purpose.

  126. need for back up purposes. You may use this software on
  127. more than one computer, provided there is no chance  it
  128. will be used simultaneously on more than one  computer.
